Frequently asked questions.

Will there be easy parking?

There is lots of street parking available all around Dickson Oval. Please be mindful of our neighbours when parking.

Accessible Parking will be available next to the Majura Football Club on Antill Street for those with a disability parking permit.

The middle car park will be reserved for Carols in the Park volunteers, and parking there will require a Carols in the Park parking pass.

Can I get to the event using public transport?

You can take the light rail and get off at Dickson Interchange. It is a 20-minute walk from there.

The bus routes include R1, R9, 18, 30, 31, 50, 51, and 53.

Does it cost anything?

It aEntry is free. Carols in the Park is proudly brought to you by Crossroads Christian Church and our awesome sponsors.

While entry to the event is entirely free, there will also be a range of food trucks, market stalls, and carnival activities provided on the night that have associated costs.

What should I bring?

Whatever you would normally bring to a picnic! E.g. a picnic rug, your own seating if required, any food and drink.
There will be vendors selling food. No alcohol will be served on site.
We'd love to see your family and friends there and hear your singing voice!

What happens if it rains?

As Carols in the Park is an outdoor event, if there is heavy rain, we will have to cancel it.

Please stay informed on announcements via our website and social media pages for weather updates.

Who is performing?

On the night, three bands will play carols for us. All the bands consist of volunteers from Crossroads Christian Church.

Are there toilets available?

There are toilets on site. Please refer to the park map for their locations.

An accessible toilet will be located at the northern toilet block, closest to the Antill Street car park.
